A bridge on a highway between Italy and France collapsed Tuesday in Genoa. This was the result of a violent storm combined with structual weakness. The tragic collapse sent cars free falling over 260 feet into a pile of rubble.

According to a rescue worker, Amalia Tedeschi approximately 20 vehicles had been involved in the collapse. She said two people so far have been rescued alive. They have been airlifted to a hospital.

According to The Guardian, so far 20 people have been killed in this disaster.

    This was totally unbelievable, a bridge coming down like that. There needs to be a full thorough investigation on this bridge. I know the bridges in America are in horrible shape so many need to be repaired. So sorry for the lost of life there and bless the families who lost love ones.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
