A bridge on a highway between Italy and France collapsed Tuesday in Genoa. This was the result of a violent storm combined with structual weakness. The tragic collapse sent cars free falling over 260 feet into a pile of rubble.
According to a rescue worker, Amalia Tedeschi approximately 20 vehicles had been involved in the collapse. She said two people so far have been rescued alive. They have been airlifted to a hospital.
