In the span of less than two weeks Indonesia has been hit with its third earthquake Thursday. The island of Lombok has been plagued with natural disaster. This has brought the death toll from over 100 to over 300 overnight.
This tremor is an aftershock of the previous two quakes. It has been measured at 5.9 magnitude according to U.S. Geological survey. This has once again added to the damage of buildings, caused several injuries, and landslides.
Approximately 68,000 homes were damaged or destroyed in Sunday’s quake and 270,000 people are homeless or otherwise displaced. This toll will inevitably increase since Thursday’s disaster.Twitter contests by Rewards Fuel
