Most people on the face of the earth had absolutely NO CLUE November 19th is “World Toilet Day.”
This date was designated by the United Nations in response to the global sanitation crisis.
While most people didn’t exactly mark their calendars to celebrate the day, make no mistake! Some people got extra festive for the occasion. A woman by the name of Michel Rubel posted a Donald Trump toilet brush from her company SpacedOutDesigns.

Happy #WorldToiletDay! US-based crafter Michelle Rubel of #spacedoutdesigns, had had such an overwhelming response to orders for her Commander-in-Crap toilet brush that hee @etsy store states, “we are currently looking at a 6-8 week arrival time for orders placed after 8am Pacific time on November 15th. Please keep in mind I make these by hand […]”. ⬆️🤗
The brush has since gone viral and are now on a 6-8 week back order. Either the country is going down the toilet and everybody wants a Trump toilet brush or these things are flying like hot cakes because this is a must-have for Trump fans and foes alike.
In all seriousness, Worldwide, 4.5 billion people live without “safely managed sanitation” and around 892 million people practice open defecation.
While most Americans take the clean water and sanitation for granted, this is a major issue in many countries around the world.
In South Africa major news outlets took the opportunity to highlight the government’s failure to maintain sanitary conditions for all its residents.
