Fallen film producer Harvey Weinstein pleaded not guilty to rape and criminal sex at charges in New York.

Dozens of women have accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct. Allegations range from harassment to assault. One unidentified victim told investigators that he cornered her and raped her in a hotel room. Lucia Evans, former actress has also publicly accused Weinstein of forcing her to perform oral sex at his office as far back as 2004.

Weinstein, 66, has denied all allegations of sexual assault. Benjamin Brafman, his lawyer has attempted to stain the credibility of all the victims. Brafman claims the allegations are absurd. He is relying on the defense that one of the accusers and Weinstein had a decade long consensual sexual relationship that continued after the alleged attack in 2013.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. has said it was predictable that Weinstein’s camp would attack the integrity of the women and of the legal system.

Weinstein is out of jail on $1 million bail.
