Convicted mobster, Whitey Bulger was killed at a West Virginia federal prison early Tuesday morning.
The Notorious criminal gangster was sentenced in 2013 with convictions for nearly a dozen murders, rand other federal offenses. He was serving two life sentences for his violent crimes.
The Irish American mob boss was a member of the Boston’s “Winter Hill” gang. Dec. 23, 1994 Bulger fled Boston. He was a fugitive from justice for over 16 years as he eluded authorities. He spent 12 of the 16 years on the FBI’s most wanted list next to Al Qeada leader Osama Bin Laden.
The 89- year old was recently transferred from a Florida prison facility, then an Oklahoma facility before being placed in West Virginia.
No further information about the killing has been disclosed at this time.
