Several gas explosions in Lawrence, Mass killed a teen, left 10 others debilitated, and caused fires in almost 40 homes in three different communities on Thursday.

The entire neighborhood was evacuated.

18-year-old Leonel Rondon died when a chimney from an exploding house crashed into his car. He was pronounced dead at a Boston hospital.

Andover Fire Chief Michael Mansfield told reporters, “It looked like Armageddon, it really did… There were billows of smoke coming from Lawrence behind me. I could see pillars of smoke in front of me from the town of Andover.”

I know it’s supposed to be cheaper and cleaner but I never liked natural gas for cooking and heating. Used to have an old gas stove where the pilot light would go out and when you went to relight it there was always a flash of flame in your face for a second.

Wow that’s crazy sink holes now gas explosions. I don’t like lighting that gas either but have got use to it but don’t trust it because I can’t smell that good. Could be too much gas and I wouldn’t know fire🔥🔥🤔 Sorry to hear the young man lost his life, so young. May he rest in peace🙏🙏🙏
