Adult actress Stormy Daniels was arrested Thursday during a performance at an Ohio strip club. She was accused of “allowing patrons to touch her while working as a nude/semi-nude performer.” This is a violation of a state law known as the “Community Defense Act.”
During her performance at Sirens strip club in Columbus, she allowed a man to touch her in a non-sexual way. She was put into custody and will more than likely face a misdemeanor charge.
Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti told the press, he thinks this was a set up. He said, this was a sting operation, and a waste of law enforcement resources.
“This was a complete set up,” he said. “It’s absurd that law enforcement resources are being spent to conduct a sting operation related to customers touching performers in a strip club in a non-sexual manner.”
This arrest comes during the midst of Stormy Daniels’ lawsuit against President Donald Trump and Michael Cohen. She is working to make the nondisclosure agreement she signed in 2016 invalid. Cohen and Trump were involved with a scandal in which they paid Daniels over $130,00 to stay silent about her 2006 with Donald Trump.
